Nice to meet you!
I’m Dr. Mateusz Krekora
I am passionate and driven to help others take control of health and get the most from their bodies. I have been fortunate enough to train with Dr. Alex Ritza who has helped me realize the power of Corrective Chiropractic to help the body to heal itself. We both share the desire to get to the root of the problem and unlock a person’s autonomy over their health.
I believe optimal spine and nervous system health is fundamental to a person’s performance, well being and quality of life. Society has become accustomed to the notion that conditions such as ‘back pain’ and ‘poor posture’ are simply a regular part of ageing and people’s lives. I am driven to change the status quo and give people the tools to achieve a more resilient and healthier body. To provide a more preventative care plan rather than the traditionally reactive approach to musculoskeletal health.
Who I Work With
I work with people that look for more than a ‘quick fix’ and short term pain relief. I work with people who share the same desire to invest in a long-term strategy to optimal health and well-being. I believe in empowering people with the tools to actively engage in their recovery outside the office.
I want to break the cycle of intermittent injuries many patients face and figure out the underlying problems that contribute to your ailments. For this reason, I carefully review cases and perform a thorough Neurostructural examination to see if I can help you.
I work hard with my patients to identify and correct poor health habits like bad sleep, nutrition, and recovery. These are some of the most understated areas that can be holding you back from improving/optimizing your health and making sure your body is not holding you back.
Why I Love Being a Corrective Chiropractor
As a track athlete in high school, I struggled with unrelenting knee pain that had limited results with “traditional” physical therapy. I was so frustrated because competing in track and field meant the world to me and my injury was simply deemed as something I would need to ‘outgrow’. I was fortunate enough to meet a Corrective Chiropractor who considered how my spine and nervous system contributed to my problem. She inspired hope in me with her care and helped me return to competing by my last year of high school. I am dedicated to inspiring and supporting individuals in reaching their health goals. It excites me that I can be a part of the process of transforming your health and lifestyle! |
Training Camp
Dr Mateusz was recruited out of the chiropractic college based on the recommendation of a former mentor of Dr Ritza’s. Before even completing his studies, Dr Mateusz was busy observing, training and learning from Dr Ritza to optimize his clinical and communication skills to give him a leg up on becoming an extraordinary corrective chiropractor. Dr Mateusz has been trained in the NeuroStructursal Restoration method used at TCC to help patients restore optimal function of the spine and nervous system and address the root causes of the health challenges that they face. The goal is always to have an associate chiropractor that you trust enough to take care of your staff and family. We are proud to say that with much training Dr Mateusz is beyond capable!
A little something personal
I am a University of Toronto alumni and a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I am a former varsity track athlete but have shifted gears (pun intended!) into the world of road cycling. I am grateful for the new challenges and new faces cycling has introduced to me. As well, the various coffee stops we take around the city satisfies my need for pastries and caffeine. When I am not pushing pedals, I am most likely out walking my rambunctious yorkie Zara (fortunately for me, her puppy energy never faded). After the long walks she takes me on, I replenish my energy by exploring the diverse and endless food experiences the city has to offer (recommendations are always welcome!). I have lived in Toronto’s east side all my life and the city has given back so much to me. I am looking forward to serving the great communities of the city by supporting health optimization. |
